Car was originally built by Gary Reese Chassis and Buschur Racing for another customer. The car was built using a 4G63 and Powerglide. After the car initially went 8.50's making it one of the fastest Sport Compact cars in the country at the time the owner took a different route and attempted to use Honda power in it. The attempt at Honda power failed miserably and the original owner sold the car to Buschur Racing.



We put the car back once again to 4g63 power and it was sold to a good friend of ours, Albert. Albert lives in Aruba. The car has been in Aruba running consistently in the 8.16 range for the last few years. After a tuning trip down to Aruba by David Buschur the car made an easy 800+ whp there on a local dyno.

The car has recently become the 2nd fastest 4G63 powered car in the world. On March 30th, with the car driven by Kenny Battiboy, the CRX layed down a 7.66 second pass at 175 mph.

Another trip to Aruba is being planned to install larger camshafts and a new intake manifold and throttle body. 7.20's sounds pretty good. ;)
